It would have been nice if you got a chance to see the Red Sox play the Yankees but it wasn't a good game in the end. Did you get have any Chowda? You must have went to Fanuel Hall AKA: Quincy Market.... How did you like the "T" system? Was the trade show at the New Convention Center or the BaySide Expo center? Riding or should I say floating around Boston Harbor is pretty cool. did you see the USS Constitution? Did you get to get some Boston Pizza? Only the best in the country GP

Replying to: explorerx4 (Aug 25, 2009 2:44 pm) In my opinion, it looks as bad-or worse-than the Challenger that was involved in the accident. Now, simple physics dictates that vehicle impact force increases by the square of the vehicle speed. So-even conceding that an old Sable is far from a paragon of structural integrity-I find it a bit difficult(although not impossible) to believe that the Challenger was traveling at 100 mph when the decedent pulled out in front of it.

The chowda and pizza were also very good. We saw the USS Constitution and Paul Revere's house. You live in a wonderful place! Richard |

If we pay for C4C, health plan, Cap and Trade, immigration bill, etc., we won't be able to eat. BTW, I'm not directing this at you. I'm just picking on an old poster friend. Richard |

Replying to: greanpea68 (Aug 25, 2009 2:27 pm) I would have loved to see the Red Sox play the Yankees. Even better, the Bruins play the Leafs. But we were at a trade show and only for 40 hours. We did have a wonderful dinner at restaurant on the street around the corner from the Sheraton and we had the best chowder ever...we actually said that. We were short on time and the next night we ate at the Cheese Cake Factory and had chicken in wine sauce and angel hair spagetti, then we ran to get on the Duck Tour bus. We saw the I talian area on the tour and saw all the fantastic Italian restaurants...I was dying for a Pizza but there wasn't enough time. We were amazed at the tunnels (the Dig), and we travelled from the airport to the hotel, about 5 miles I guess...almost all underground! The Duck Tour ride was arranged by a supplier, but I would gladly have paid to do that. The trade show was in the Hynes Convention Center which is attached to the Sheraton, and Felinees wedding dress sale was going on....which was fun to watch. We saw these sights on the tour in about 80 minutes and much more........ 1. Prudential Tower 2. Christian Science Church 3. Copley Place/ Arts Square 4. New Old South Church 5. Arlington Street Church 6. Boston Common/ Public Gardens 7. Swan Boats 8. Beacon Hill 9. State House 10. Robert Gould Shaw Memorial 11. Mary Dyer 12. Old Scollay Square/ Government Center 13. Old West Church 14. West End 15. TD Banknorth Garden 16. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge 17. Museum of Science 18. Charles River 19. Esplanade 20. Longfellow Bridge 21. Hatch Shell 22. Bunker Hill 23. U.S.S. Constitution 24. Old North Church/North End 25. Rose Kennedy Greenway/North End Parks 26. Holocaust Memorial 27. Faneuil Hall/ Quincy Market 28. Old State House 29. King s Chapel 30. Granary Burying Ground 31. Make Way for Ducklings 32. Cheers 33. Newbury Street 34. Trinity Church 35. Hancock Tower 36. Boston Public Library We definitely want to go back and see a lot more. |

Replying to: madmanmoo (Aug 25, 2009 2:15 pm) That's my point. The government pays out $4500 to supplement the dealers profit. $4500 sounds good in theory, but the customer could have had that deal any way, especially when the 2010s come out, so really tax payer money went to increase the profits of the dealers. Madman, how many C4Cs came in to buy a Porche?
