I just bought a 50" Kuro Elite from Best Buy for 45% off and got an extended warranty for $200. If you don't ask, you don't get. As for the other items, people tend to spend way too much or not enough. For cable and interconnects I like Blue Jeans Cable. For surge suppression I use the Tripp Lite Powerbar10- $70 from Amazon. Most all of the Monster Cable products are incredibly overpriced.
