This a.m., when it was -6, I used the "boil water" setting for a couple of minutes....then back down to warm, which was perfect. HVAC in recent cars have come a long way. Even a few years ago, I can remember setting either heat or A/C, and having to wait until I drove 5 miles before either would happen effectively. Now, in either the Accord, or Tahoe, I've got heat or A/C before I've travelled a 1/2 mile (took a little longer this morning, though). |

Just heard that Carmax is calling it quits. Not sure if it is chapter 11 or maybe worse. EDIT... OOPS !! I may have misunderstood this report. It may have just been something about Circuit City at one time being involved with Carmax...sorry. |

Replying to: driver100 (Jan 16, 2009 11:16 am) It would be a way of connecting with some of the youth. He doesn't look like a rap listener though. Topic related.... I'm getting frutrated (as Ipointed out on another thread) withg some internet inquiries I'm getting. I get incomplete inquiries about used vehicles we don't have. When I reply to clarify what the customer wants I get no answers, instead smart alec responses. Is it that difficult to act like an adult and communicate to a place of business as to what you're looking for? We're not mind readers! Nuff ranting.
