Replying to: graphicguy (Jan 14, 2009 7:02 am) Sounds like one of the actuators (electric motors that moves the vanes to control the air flow) might have died. Or the piece of the arm on the vane broke. Possibly the controlling programmer that decides how much to move might have died, but could you adjust between floor and defrost, e.g.? Actuators should be available from another area dealer for them to "Rush" parcel service to their store for repair. If the unit is designed like Buick's parts are replaceable by owners with a rating of 1 out of 10 on the shadetree mechanic scale. It's sort of like people putting Windows 7 on their computer as a beta.
