That is what the dealer won't budge on---except in another color. Yes, I knew the GS was no longer around for '09. Driver mentioned it and I was just clearing it up for him. Some places still have new GS '08's. Richard

Replying to: richard64 (Jan 07, 2009 8:14 pm) If an 09 GM LS in black/medium light stone is what you are looking for, try: East Carolina LM; Greenville NC Summerville LM: Summerville, SC Stivers LM; Columbia, SC Gate City LM; Greensboro, NC Bobby Jones LM; Augusta, GA All show this car in their inventory per mercuryvehicles.com..... (I think I recall you saying that you lived near Southern Pines....???) None of these places should be too far to dealer trade for or for you to investigate for yourself if you are really interested. Good luck.

Replying to: cdnpinhead (Jan 07, 2009 5:13 am) " Duke. Let's see, what's that phrase? Oh yeah, purple prose. My dear, young friend you are but 21 in years. Though our forum is not constantly blessed with direct front line stories, we have much to offer on the various topics of life and living. You can learn many things from those of us who have lived 10-50 years beyond your brief visit on this planet. Partake of the fruits of our labors, the sweat of our brows, the tears of our anguish, the joys of our associations, and the sweet smells of our successes. . . " No doubt I inspired others to wax eloquent. My bad, a momentary lapse though a grateful respite in these troubling times. Though the young salesman in question hasn't suffered the slings and arrows, he shall and be a better man for it . Adversity does build strength though I'd pass on the education in a NY minute. Pinheads always makes me think of Joey and the gang . Good fortune in '09. |
