Hope all of you had a nice holiday. Here's a question for you. Since Employee Pricing + Customer Cash Back comes from the manufacturer, is it ok to ask the local dealer how much more he'll discount the car? Example: The new Grand Marquis for $30,500 can now be had for $23,500. Is it insulting to ask how much more the dealer will discount the car? Richard |

When I first saw the ads for that feature I figured they must have nothing but contempt for the American consumer. In my opinion, any one who needs a self-parking car shouldn't be allowed on the road.

LOL (something about subtracting B from A to get to C). Seriously though, in my simple lay person opinion, if you like the car and want it I would say I'll sign the papers right here and now for $22,500 or whatever you want to pay. Test the waters, but I don't think that is insulting. To see if there is any bargaining room there I guess we can see if Joel is around. Good luck, are you actually back to possibly buying?

No one else caught it. Sorry Isell. I just couldn't resist. Shows you that he ain't payin attention either. jmonroe |
