My usual response is "miles is miles". A pretty good response. Freeway miles is hillarious. In the classifieds they use " gentle " freeway miles. Gentle is better than turbulent I guess.

Everywhere is freaks and hairies, dykes and fairies, tell me where is sanity ?
Tax the rich, feed the poor. Tax them until they are rich no more.

Less well known but superb guitar work.

Love that song, Duke. Alvin and the Chipmunks, Ten Years After they changed their name to, well, Ten Years After. I, too, would love to change the world!

Song would sound better in a new car I would like to buy from one of the good folks here. For which I would gladly pay you on Tuesday...

The prior post, where you allude to my prowess, I'll have to think about. It's familiar, but it hasn't clicked yet like Mr. Speed Guitar Lee did...

So, for now, I'm Goin' Home...

But, one for you:

"Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground ..."

"I'd Love to Change the World"
Ten Years After

How about this one:
Really don't mind if you sit this one out;
Your words but a whisper, your deafness a shout

"Oh boy! I'm in big trouble now!"

Yes, you are! Where is my information on the red Solara that you promised would be delivered today?!

You have my email address. No need to bore the posters here. I was at the beach attending a wedding today. Now, I have returned in great anticipation, only to be disappointed by the Mack.

I,too, was a fan of Tony Snow. To look on the bright side: He reminded me of you---life with a sense of humor. It is the only way to fly.

People complain about the price of gas, but few try to conserve it. During my three hour drive to the beach this morning, I drove 55mph on the two lane roads and 65mph on the four lane roads. Motorists constantly passed me doing 80 or 90 driving SUV's, large sedans, etc. My trip took about 15 minutes longer than usual. By using cruise and maintaining a normal speed, I really saved gas. I'm willing to give up an extra 15 minutes for that savings. Also, I'm learning that I can coast down hills quite a bit before I have to hit the gas again. My Sebring convertible averaged 27.2 mpg. When I returned, I filled up for $3.97 per gallon here in the Pinehurst area.

"ADHD"

Perhaps it has finally caught up with me. I was always the Type A personality. At my age, treatment is out of the question. I married a Type B. That helps.

To all of those who voted for me, I thank you. I will name my vice presidential running mate at the next National Car Show. My administration's first act will be to get mackabee to finish the Jim Gridell story.

Wtg Richard getting 27 mpg out of the Sebring. A light foot and coast.

Switching to ballads: Chrysler mention, on topic.

It was somewhere in a fairy tale,
I used to take her home in my car.
We learned about love in the back of the Dodge,
The lesson hadn't gone too far.
You see, she was gonna be an actress,
And I was gonna learn to fly.
