Just think. If it had been Avon, you could have worked your way up to a pink caddy.

"To stay on topic has anyone ever thought about selling cars through a MLM?"

We already do! It's called a "dealership" sales people are at the bottom of the pyramid.

I know how Isell feels. Being ambushed is not very nice of people.
Last night I was talking to a Navy couple about the new Sequoia. They have the previous gen which they bought in Charleston SC. They didn't want to test drive so I offered to show them the interior. We looked at a Platinum and they asked for my card and asked if I was working Sunday as it was his next day off. I told them I was not scheduled this Sunday. I told him to give me a call when it would be more convenient as I would like to take care of them being we are "salt brothers"
They agreed and then left. It was about 5 minutes till closing and just as I was locking the Sequoia, an 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer that being hit more times than Muhammad Ali was stopped behind the Corollas. I asked the guy if he needed any help as we were about to close. He starts asking me all kinds of questions: "Which is the cheapest car you guys make besides the Corolla.?" he asks.
"That would be the Yaris and also the Scion xD." I told him. "No there's another one. I can't remember the name." he says. "You're probably thinking of the Echo." I tell him. "Yeah, that's it." he responds. "That car was discontinued back in 2005." I tell him. "How much do you think I can get for my car?" he asks. "How much are you looking to get?" I ask. "I want 4 grand for it." he tells me. "Unless you have 3 grand or 3500 in the glove compartment, you won't get much for it." I tell him. The car looks like the paint job was done by a blind man with a brush. The rear bumper is falling off and the right side has a bunch of putty and pink paint on it. (The car si some shade of pewter)
He doesn't like my answer on the "trade" and then asks me if Huey is working tonight. "You know Huey?" I ask. "Yeah, I talk to him every time I come by." he tells me. "Really? He's gone for the day and I'm on my way home too. Have a good night. If you have any questions give Huey a call."

"I felt naushis (help)..."

Here you go: nauseous

Stay away from Taco Bell. It will shorten your life span by ten years. If you will deliver my car to North Carolina, I'll cook you some Eastern Style Bar-B-Q---with good old vinegar and hot sauce. I'll cook some baby back ribs and corn bread with onion, red peppers, and bell pepper to put on the side. For dessert, I'll fix a banana pudding topped with hot fluffy egg whites and melting chocolate chips. Take an antacid tablet before you arrive. Too bad about isellhondas. He'll miss a good thing.

Gotta go. I'm starving.

Hmmm, I know those. 98% of the time it ends up nowhere and you end up staying past closing. The other 2 % turned into deals that night or the next day.

I usually rescheule for next day and if they're serious they'll come back.

I'll take you up on that offer. I had some NC barbie yesterday for dinner. Hmmm good! Love that stuff. Can't eat it too often though, not good for my digestive system. (what's left of it)
But back on topic. I can deliver a brand spanking new or cpo Solara convertible to your residence. I hope you have room for 7 and a twinkle in my son's eye! You will know who we are when you see a caravan of Toyotas and Scion coming up to your spread.

Well, there is nothing wrong with your memory. You never did forget that I love the red Solara convertible. If you brought one to me, I could drive it right to the Toyota place here and make that salesman and owner green (red) with envy. After what they did to me, they deserve it. If you find a really good '07, I'll drive up and get it myself. Remember---no auction car and no rental. Get busy.

Enjoy! I anchored out near Nanaimo more than once & even had to put in there once at 3 am under sail when my auxiliary packed up coming back from AK.

Those summer ferry lineups were murder when I was there, & I'm sure they're worse now. Kept my boat about a mile from Horseshoe Bay for quite awhile. Howe Sound is probably the most beautiful piece of North America that I've ever visitied, and I've visited most of it.

Either way, delivering a car represents the kind of service that generates long-term loyalty -- pretty much a lost concept in the part of the continent I occupy.

Of course it is. Thanks and I stand corrected.
