There is a joke in the South that when it begins to snow, you go to the grocery store and buy bread, milk, and eggs.

I knew it...I just knew it. It's in the genes (see post 30077)

hehe, I can relate

creative scheduling and secret bookkeeping

Is that a course offered in Master of School Administration programs?

creative data entry

That would be one of the topics covered in the above course, right?

Dropout Specialists

I'm guessing that is not a certified position.

The local school system administration got burned on this a couple of times a few years ago. Kids at school and the weather turned, so nightmarish chaos ensued trying to get the kids home, inexperienced drivers had a few accidents, buses sliding around, all in all a logistical cluster . . .

Snow has the effect of rendering us blithering idiots for a while.

Now they are very quick to pull the trigger on canceling school. The local joke is "School is canceled because it might snow."

Wow Richard, I had no idea that that kind of crap went on in the schools. I do hope it’s not nationwide, but then why wouldn’t it be.

To mess with a kids head, his/her future and risk damaging an already fragile ego just to make the “adults” look good is not acceptable.

ummm, I'm not following your math. Are those percentages of the 18000? If so, the risk is significantly higher.

Probably safer to just stay home. At least in my house there are only three females, and two of them don't drive yet.

I love it.....Hilarious

I wonder how well that math translates to the "Physics professors" in the house. I also wonder if they can explain why Porsches and Audi's handle so well with extreme weight bias in the front, or back.

To many Physics proffesors that don't get out much...........

Mack....

That was the best story I have heard in a while. Thank God my wife doesn't have a gun I might not be posting here today....

But I am the same way... weather male or female... if someone else cuts me off, they must be really having a bad day to be that much in a rush or they are just that angry

Life's too short
