Replying to: fezo (May 19, 2008 11:25 am) I had 2 issues with my T5 that were covered under the extended warranty within 100k miles and those cost the warranty company about $350 total. by the way, expect about 24 mpg, and premium is recommended. |

Replying to: british_rover (May 19, 2008 11:00 am) I on the other hand had very good service today at the dealership. I was going thru some puddles on the expressway a few days ago, my Mazda MPV hit a decent sized puddle, then started shuddering badly as if water had gotten in a plug or ignition coil. I immediately thought coil, as the OEM coils Mazda put in their MPV's have a reputation for early expiration. I had Autozone read the code, came back misfire in cylinder #5. Took it into the dealership today and was in and out in under an hour. The service advisor did a good job in explaining the problem. Asked if I had a trans. fluid change yet, which I already had. The repair was covered under warranty. Which would have been around a $130 job. |

What is the point of going to the dealer that is "not offering" the price? Is this some kind of high-school logic that everybody wants to date the girl that says " No" to a date? |

I kinda know what you mean about the directions to the pizza shop. But, being South Shah, on the rare occasion I go to Logan (TF Green in Warwick, RI fan here ...) I take the Teddy Tunnel. And, of course, my chances! Ya know, even with the price of gas about to nick me for $4/gallon, driving to DC and back was still less expensive than Amtrak or flying. Even w/tolls. Not counting wear and tear on the TL, of course... Just an observation. And, New Haven for me was when I was resident of the Great State of Connecticut. Oh, so long ago. Go Huskies! Tried to go home on the way back from DC. My, how things change... (The Fairfield County Border Guards checked my tax returns for the last few years. They wouldn't let me off I95 as I would have cut the per capita in half! |
