I don't recall any problem with slowing down. Of course we were barely 18!!! That was a while ago and lot of youthful fitness ago. If you enjoy airplanes, missiles, and history, you'd like the National Air Force Museum outside Dayton OH (Wright Patterson Air Force Base). Air Force Museum They have the airplane which dropped the 2nd bomb, Bockscar , and have versions of the bombs. They're not that big! In a hanger you can visit as a part of the museum, they have the 707 which was Kennedy's plane on which they brought him back from Dallas, and on which LBJ was sworn in. They have Jackie's seat for that flight marked. |

Most of these fields were low production high cost areas so very little if any oil was pumped out. With oil prices so low he might get a check for 35 cents or something but he also got the records for his partners checks. The check would come with a booklet detailing everything and the booklet was so think it usually had two or three dollars of postage attached. |

I don't recall any problem with slowing down. Of course we were barely 18!!! Some of us don’t remember as well as others. I damn near died running up all those steps but I was about 20 when I did it. To stay a little on topic, I drove my 56’ Chevy to D.C. that weekend. If you enjoy airplanes, missiles, and history, you'd like the National Air Force Museum outside Dayton OH (Wright Patterson Air Force Base). Thanks. I’ll put that on my to do list. Being from the Burgh area I’m not that far from Dayton. Again, to stay on topic, I’ll drive over in one of the ‘throw-aways’. jmonroe |

Replying to: jmonroe (Apr 30, 2008 7:00 am) When I was 15 we took the elevator up and the stairs down. My calves ached for a day after that. If I tried it today they'd probably run me to the hospital! |
