That got me curious also. There are 31 Nissan dealers with in 50 miles from my store. Competition kills the salesman but is good for the manufacturer.

The Lexus event in Alameda (CA) last August had the IS-F on display. But no one was allowed to sit in it.
Lexus knows how to put on an event...great spread, reserved times for test drives, good food, etc. Made the MB C-class event a week or so prior to it look sparse and cheap.

Very cool.
Unrelated question:
Have you been selling a lot of LR2s to former Freelander owners?
We hadn't sold a single LR2 to an Freelander owner till this month but now we have sold three.

Mack; sorry I didn't understand what you had said. I didn't realize the dealer paid Toyota as soon as the vechicle was produced. In any case, it won't be till later next week one way or the other...at least I know the truth that it didn't "have" to be reported sold, they would really "like" it to be reported sold. I'm hoping for some sort of rebate but I'm not holding my breath. In any event, I don't have to leave too much on the cutting room floor (yet).
I'm really busy workwise for the next two weeks and I'll be picking the vechicle up and once I get a few hours to put together the 'epic', I'll do so.
Thanks for your help !

PS. Keep the chin up !

Only a couple. What has been weird is we keep getting out of state calls on used cars that they want to ship to Mongolia. I am pretty sure it is a scam, but we play along until the scam becomes obvious. Also, I know we can't sell a new one for export, but I need to check on used.

Aiden Quinn
I know he played Benedict Arnold in "Benedict Arnold: A Question of Honor" which he was pretty decent in. Is that what you are thinking about?
