Hey everyone,

I have a paper due for my Peperdine MBA program on alternative fuels and your threads provide valuable info. Thanks for sharing.

I'll be back if I have any specific questions.

Dr. Roger Billings has the worlds first fuel cell car that uses a metal hydride storage tank and has a range of about 300 miles on a single fill. The neat thing about this car is that it was originally a battery operated vehicle before they converted it over to using a fuel cell, and if you put the same amount of Metal Hydride (weight for weight) as the lead acid batteries that were in the car. The range of the vehicle would be over 1000 miles! So Hydrides have been the most exciting Hydrogen fuel storage system that I have seen so far.

I've actually seen the fuel cell car. The size of the fuel cell is amazing. And it works.

I also recently stumbled on a video done by Dr. Billings, getting his fans -- like myself, up to speed on what he's currently doing in hydrogen. He also talks about some of his history in trying to get hydrogen-powered cars on the road and why it's been so hard to commercialize it all. If you haven't seen it yet, you might want to check it out: http://www.rogerbillings.info. Although he didn't give to much away, I know I'm going to keep my eye on him. If anyone can get real hydrogen cars on the market, it will be him!
