Replying to: pf_flyer (Jan 10, 2006 7:00 am) with Vue Green Line uses an electric motor and nickel-metal hydride battery pack to supplement a 2.4-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine with 170 horsepower, this Vue cannot run beyond a few short seconds solely on electric power. Features are improvised like with saturn headlight cover, emblem, hood, etc.

Replying to: dhanley (Sep 07, 2007 3:15 pm) I was going by Edmunds, but I just realized that they were referring to the 2007 model. I'm not surprised that they went to AWD on all models; using electric motors instead of a transmission is very weight-effective, so it doesn't have the MPG penalty of a traditional AWD SUV setup. "The escape, though, does come with FWD." Which goes back to my original point about the Vue not being the only hybrid SUV out there with FWD... |

Hello all, I have an offer of $21,995 plus TT&L for 2007 VUE Greenline. It's a dark blue with comfort package and window tint. $3,000 off MSRP of $24,995. Also, this is an "exchange" vehicle where a previous owner drove it less than 3,000 miles and traded it in (or exchange) for another Saturn. Has anybody heard of this program before? Good thing is that this program lets it qualify for new car financing plus GM's stellar 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty! Also, is $21,995 a fair price for 2007? I know that there's a $3,000 rebates, but it seems like I could ask for more off (even though Saturn is a no-haggle price dealer). Any input would be appreciated.
