Replying to: mbeagle90 (Oct 11, 2007 6:31 am) as the host said, what you want is the most important reason.   As far as other reasons, I think probably the 2 biggest are the fact that a Volvo is less expensive than other luxury brands (save maybe Infiniti) when similarly equipped AND that you will be in a more exclusive group (ie, far less S80s driving around out there than 5-series and E-class cars).

Do any of you know how to replace the cabin air filter on the 2007 S 80??   Seems its a bit different from previous S 80's.   Any references would be appreciated. doctor dick.

I started to look for an 05 or 06 T.5, but have not been able to locate one that we like. I am considering a low mileage 07 from a private party. Has the 3.2 been reliable? I tend to keep cars 10+years. Am I better off continuing to wait for the T5? Thanks in advance

I would appreciate opinions on whether the push button start/keyless entry is worth getting? I am concerned that it may sound good in the showroom but not be very handy or reliable in the end. Replying to: hagop50 (Mar 27, 2008 6:35 pm) To answer both of your questions, I have an 07 S80 V8 that has been near perfect.   We have had no issues w/ the S80 3.2 either. Oddly enough, there was a fuel pump issue on the S80 T6. For some reason, the fuel line would blow off the pump. This was an issue on only a few cars and has been rectified.   I have the full keyless, and I love it. Can't imagine having a car without it.

Interested in the S80 with the 3.2 I6 and want to know real world gas mileage experience and if anyone runs regular gas. Reading the manual on line it says that 91 octane is recommended but that 87 is okay. Replies to this message: jay2001 (Apr 09, 2008 3:25 pm)

Replying to: odd1 (Apr 01, 2008 5:32 am) We only put on 1000 miles so far , so maybe the car isn't "broken in" completely, but the milage has been about 20 mpg on regular, in mostly (80%) city driving .
