Buying American Cars What Does It Mean?

With parts coming from everywhere, does "Buying American" have much meaning anymore? Is quality and price the bottom line?
...how Pontiac used the initials "PMD" on the wheel centers back in the 1960s which stood for Pontiac Motor Division? Good thing they weren't called the Pontiac Motor Subsidiary!
