Replying to: dampfnudel (Jan 03, 2006 4:29 pm) I doubt the Accord will have that option. It doesn't need it. I don't think people will be looking for SH-AWD in a family sedan. It'll be better if SH-AWD stays in the Acura line. It gives their upscale line a unique trait.

The exterior blows away the Camry! The interior, except for the wheel, looks stunning. At first it took me a while to get used to it. But after starring at the photos for 2 hours I fell in love with it. Such daring, such boldness, the use of the led screens thrills me like no car ever has! Only the wheel needs changing, and that could easily be replaced with one from the New Civic, which has the greatest wheel ever seen by man. A wheel of substance! A wheel of strength and gravitas!   Combine those things in the interior, and add a super efficient 4-cylinder engine with a hybrid drive, and you could see 40 mpg real world driving miles in a car that truly rings in the new millennium!   Come on Honda, kick Toyota's ass if you can! Show us the magic! You are right, sir!      Acura could just donate the TL's 270HP engine (If it is still 270 in 2006 SEA ratings), but where would the Tl go from here, with FWD?     Honda get the shivers whenever an eight is brought up, even for a $50k car! And AWD is more aniche than a market advantage.     DrFill

I just talked to my salesman at my local dealership and they are hearing rumors that the Accord redesign will take place in Nov of this year. The 2007 Camry coming out early took them by surprise and they want a new Accord out asap.I hope its true but I some how doubt it.
