Anyone know the current money factor and residuals on the IS250? I think they changed on July 25.

I just ran the paperwork and was quoted an 08 IS250 RWD with premium package (heated/perf seats/woodgrain center trim) and a spoiler. MSRP of $34,359. I negotiated a lease at 12k miles, 36 months, $2,000 down and $329 a month plus tax ($354 total monthly CA tax included, in Los Angeles). Due to an error on the lease paperwork after the manager left for the night (they closed for the night while we worked the deal), I have to come back in and sign the lease by noon tomorrow.

Has anyone seen lower? I have until noon tomorrow (Friday 8/1) to sign the paperwork! I'd like to know for sure I did well before I run back in and sign. I'm pretty sure this is an awesome deal, but I don't want to get too high on myself until I have some feedback from the real experts (you guys).

Thanks!

We can't tell if you have gotten a good deal because you haven't told us what the selling price of the car is. You should never negotiate the payment of the car first, you negotiate the price of the car. This goes for buying or leasing.

So here goes my deal that I got on July 28th, didn't sign, decided to wait and see this months deals.

Model: 250 IS AWD
MSRP: 35,238
Cap: 31,710
Residual: 19,028
MF: .0050/1.44 <-- this is what he said, think you multiple .00144 by 2400 right? Sales Tax: 10% (IL, Chicago Area) $470 for 36 Months x 12k Miles. Basically is base AWD model, with all winter floor mats, and wheel locks, trunk net and carpet, that is it. $285 cash back at signing, Just first month and fees due at signing. I also got the same deal on the same model at a different dealership, but + rear spoiler. So MSRP on that one would be $35,924. That was the one I was actually going to go for but I didn't get the Cap Cost, Money Factor from that dealership, I assumed since they were going to match the deal plus throw in a spoiler it was better. Whole reason I didn't sign was because the guy above who said he got 36 x 15k miles on a model with vented seats, 7% sales tax for $449. I plan to go back around August 15th (start my new job on August 11th) and try to negotiate another deal, hoping with the crap economy that maybe I will be able to get a similar deal. The best time to get a deal on a car is near the end of the month however. Does anyone have the residuals for August yet?

This is my first posting on this forum. So please bear with me and help me understand my new car purchase analysis/options!

Model year: Lexus IS 250 2008 AWD (brand new)
Miles on the car: 86
Options included: Luxury, Navigation, Premium, & Preferred Accessory Packages, and All weather Mats
MSRP: $41,174.
Invoice Price: $35,896
True Market Value: $39,115(KBB), $37,169(Edmunds)
Financing: 2.9% APR for 48 months
Down Payment: 0 (this may not be my choice)
Dealer's quote: $37,000
My offer: $35,000

My questions to all you experienced dudes:
•What should be the best price (between $35,000 - $37,000) should I finally go for this car?
•What should I check for in the new car (with any known issues with IS 250)?
•Should I negotiate for free Services (one of the competing dealer is offering free services thru 50k miles) ?
•Having 86 miles on the new car have any negative impacts?
•If I finally negotiate for $36,000, what should be my best bet if I have go for Lease option. Please include for 12k, 36 months, Zero down, Monthly: ?, Residual value: ?
