In the CX-9, we tried two car seats, as well as a car seat and a booster, on the 60% side, and could not tilt/slide the 40% side. However, I have read in other places, that people are still able to slide the seat(s) forward with car seats in place, and still be able to get to the 3rd row, even though the seat is not tilted. I assume kids would be able to squeeze through. If you're using a booster seat, access to 3rd row should still be pretty easy since the booster is not strapped in. Hope that helps. Mark |
