the monthly payments are kind of high, when you take gas and car insurance into consideration. That's 30,000 over 36000

My 2007 328i sports package came with the Bridgestone Potenza's. The two front tires wore out on the outside after 30000 miles. A month ago I replaced the fronts with the Continental ContiSportContact 2 SSR. The rears weren't available until July 11 and they had some life left in them. Now the July 11 date has changed to a back order for these 255/40ZR 17 Continental ContiSportContact 2 SSR. Continental tells me they do not have a production date scheduled even though there is a lot of demand for this tire. So now I'm stuck with having two brands of tire.

Two weeks ago I had another RFT go flat. This time I took the car to my mechanic and he removed the nail that was dead center in the treads. Plugged the tire and its just fine. One of the mechanics at this shop owns a 335I, his brother works for a local BMW dealership and they bought the care jointly.
When the Local BMW dealer rips you off by refusing to patch the tire, the tech takes them out of the trash, plugs them and they have a 335 running on 4 Birdegstone RFT's that are all plugged.
Talk about being robbed, we get a load of BS from the dealer, they get free tires and we get ripped off. If you know what B.O.H.I.C.A. stands for you'll understand

Would anybody know why Continental will not schedule a production date for 255/40ZR17 Continental ContiSportContact 2 SSR tires even though there is a lot of demand for this tire?

Bend over, here it comes again.

I thought some other misguided individual would have the answer and save me the time googling! Looks like I was correct.

How many miles did you get out of the Continental RFTs? Did they feather or cup?
