Go on Miata.net and look up NC. You will see forums, and I just read that someone got about $9200.00 off of a leftover 2008.
I bought a 2007 PRHT and paid list for it. I still love it, (but would have loved it better with a huge price discount)

I picked up a Galaxy Gray GT yesterday here in Oregon. $9250 off the sticker of $27,235. OTD price of $18,203 with title and registration (no sales tax in Oregon). Seems like the deals are running $7k to $9k off sticker.

One dealer wouldn't go lower than about $6,300. off MSRP. Another offered $6,989. The third agreed to $8,040 off ($22,350 for a GT PRHT with an MSRP of $30,390). I couldn't get him to go lower and didn't want to risk what might happen to the rebate next month or having to choose a different car that had more options than I wanted. Picking it up tonight.

I traded my 2007 Grand Touring MX-5 in on the new 2009 Competition Yellow MX-5. I love it but still cannot believe that there were less than 350 total manufactured in the Nation.I had to pay extra $3000.00 so total was 33,715 for a loaded Grand Touring and it is rare as the production has stopped on this color.

I was quoted in the Wall Street Journal today on my recent purchase. Times aren't so good for manufacturers or dealers, but they are great for consumers.

Nice mention of Edmunds.com in that article, as well...
But, next time... try to work our name into your quote..

Hey Ich77 so did u end up getting a Miata and not the IS250AWD? I am in the market for one and was wondering what your experience was when negotiating at the dealership? My goal is to get a IS250AWD with Nav/Prem. Please advice.

Left a deposit on a in stock Mazda5 8:00 pm. Called them 2:00 the next day to cancel the deal and they refuse to refund my deposit. The salesman never said
it wasn't refundable. What do I do now?

Yes, I got the Miata. After a long series of evaluations to get a car for my son, I ended up getting him a Subaru Imprezza Outback Sport and a Miata for me. However, since the Miata dealer only offered me $4000 for my 2002 A4, I kept it as well. Basically, I screwed up and have an extra car. The total cost of these two new cars was only $2000 more than the MSRP for the $40,400 IS250. Based on the lease price they quoted, I figured that they were selling it for about $36,000. I think I saw better deals on these pages for that car, BUT REMEMBER, the option packages are different in different parts of the Country, making it harder to compare deals.
