Well, I think you were asking me where I got my SHEEPSKIN seat covers (not just some cloth covers). It was here:

06 Civic EX Coupe car alarm issue by manashtash

We've had this vehicle for about 3 months now and it has about 1500 miles on it. In the last couple of weeks something strange has started occurring with the car alarm. If you get out of the car without locking the doors, ie filling up the gas tank or parking in your garage, when you reopen the door the car alarm goes off (very annoying)! This did not happen the first two months we had the car. Anyone else having this issue? Dealer says it's normal!! One other note is that the passenger door will not unlock with the remote, even after pressing the unlock button numerous times.

CDs getting too hot to touch by manashtash

We made our first couple of hundred mile trip with the new car and found playing CDs on a long trip made them so hot you could hardly touch them when they were ejected from the player, even if they were only in there a few minutes! This doesn't occur with short trips just around town. It is winter and maybe the heating ducts are too close to the CD player. Anyone else having this issue?

I drove to the market. Stayed in the car for a few minutes waiting until the store to open, the car door locked on me within thirty seconds or so. Open the door and the alarm went off. Happen a few times only, but not all the time. Did not like this on bit. As far as the alarm going off at the gas pumps. I leave my door open, and do not close it while pumping gas and no alarm going off. Guess you closed the door while pumping gas. I should try this in a large empty parking lot someday.

I just went outside and tryed it,,, mine is a 06 civic ex btw,,, i unlocked the doors and went and opened the drivers door and closed it back,,, waited for about 5 mins and went and opened it again and no alarm went off. I do know that if you unlock the doors and don't open them within 30 seconds it will automaticaly lock itself back. But my alarm does not go off like you say yours does. I'd say you have a problem and i'd take it back to the dealer and have them address the issue and tell them it is not normal. My wife drives an 04 accord and she has never had the problem either. And if your passenger door won't unlock with the remote then there is something screwed up with your alarm/keyless entry system,,, i'd deffinatly have it looked into!

I think it is true because of the 11:1 compression ratio. In an early discussion an owner, Strumelia message #172 looked up the exact verbage in his manual and it states 91 octane or better is required see message :strumelia, "Honda Civic Coupe / Civic Si 2006+" #172, 19 Nov 2005 3:28 pm

Do a search on this thread and you can find more discussion on the premium gas requirement.

I plan on using premium in my Si.
