Technically that would be an out of state purchase too. Dealer probaly found a buyer (sucker) to pay more than what you had negotiated. |

| I am looking for a new 2009 IS 250 AWD with Nav in the Washington, DC area - any help on finding the best price? | |
I was looking to purchase the IS350C with Premium and Nav packages. Made a deal for $1500 off MSRP via email in the evening with Internet Manager, JF, at Park Place Lexus in Mission Viejo. The next morning I drove 100 miles to the dealership only to find the car had just been sold. If an agreement made over the Internet cannot be honored by the dealership, they have no business selling cars over the Internet. Park Place Lexus in Mission Viejo is an embarrassment to the Lexus name. Caveat emptor.

Invoice on nav is something like $2200. You definitely have at least another $1k to $1.5k to shave off that price.

Replying to: greeneyespsu (Jul 11, 2009 3:55 am) so we do car at 30495 + 2100 for Nav + 700 for HID + 700 for 18" Wheels. That puts me at 33995 plus TTL puts me at 37395 OTD. Which is about 80 bucks off their price. I agree it feels high, which is why I'm having a hard time biting on this number, but it seems to be ok according to the numbers from edmunds. |
