I was asked why I like the G35 over the IS250 and I gave some of the reasons. You don't have to agree that's the beauty of personal choice.

With regards to wind noise I hope you have better luck if you have to change your windshield. For some reason Lexus chose to not use rubber molding on the sides of the windshield, and no moulding on the top of the windshield. Since we have had the windshield replaced the hard plastic on the right side of the windshield always pops out and its sounds like a window is open when driving down the highway because of air coming in through the molding less top.

I don't know if you are using the on board computer to determine mileage. I have found it to be very inaccurate. It shows that I am getting 2-3mpg better then what I am actually getting.

Does price change if you pay the full amount? by indecisive10

I saw that a few posters were getting amazing deals. Fully loaded 250's for around 32K. My question is will the price go up if you want to buy the car cash? I have a trade worth over 20 and would probably pay the difference off. I can just see the F&I manager renigging on the price when he finds out that i'm not financing it for 5.9%. What do you guys think, is the price negotiated the price or will it depend if you're financing it?

I have a car coming in from allocation. It's a 2008 350 SMG/Black - Prem - Nav - 18" wheels - HID Lights - Rear spoiler. MSRP is $43,180. Dealer say's their cost is $38,200 and they will give it to me for that +TTL. I got 3.9%/60mos locked in about two weeks ago so I think this is good but is anyone getting anything better? I am in AZ.

Thanks for the valued opinions!

Cash/finance should not change the price. However, just to be safe, I am always vague about that until a price has been agreed to. Then I tell them cash or financed. If the price changes, I walk.

CA - IS250 - Purchase - how much below invoice is reasonable? by purdue

I am new to this thread and am a first time buyer. I am interested in a 2008 IS250, NAV, Luxury Plus Package (without alloy wheels). Finance/60 or 48 mo.

I was advised by a small dealership of the following figures:

MSRP: $37,670
Invoice: $33,396
Selling price: $33,3096

I test drove last weekend and advised the salesperson that I am interested in purchasing below invoice and they did not blow me off.

How much below invoice do you think would be reasonable given that the 2009 models have just come out? Thanks for your input.

From my research in SoCal, you can get up to $1,000 under invoice.

Since am seriously looking into the IS250 and live in the West Coast..perhaps it would pay to go to your dealer. May I have his name and number. I would appreciate it.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
