Does anyone here, either based on inside knowledge, or based on past experiences, know when the 2009 IS 250 would be available at dealerships? Is it like Sept 1? The reason is, because it is already mid August, I could wait the extra 2-3 weeks for the next years model. However, if it were like Oct, then maybe it is not worth waiting. Please advise. Thanks. So I would not pay more that 32451 at the most. Lexus also has 2.9% financing for 48mo and 3.9 for 60 mos. My credit union could not beat that. The dealer is trying to get me to lease the IS 250 for 433 a month. This includes tax and 15k mi/yr. Zero down. Only about 725.00 or so for first month payment, license etc. The money factor is .00075 (or about 1.9%) Does anyone think I'd be better off leasing given that deal - instead of buying??? If anyone can help out there I'd really appreciate it. I need to decide today, whether I will lease or buy. |

But if I had to do it again I would opt for the 2.5 engine and maybe the same package. I live in a flat desert and don't need that much engine power that comes at a $6k price difference and a much higher insurance premium. Real life MPG is also about 25% lower for the 3.5. Do the math. |

| I got an offer from one of the dealerships in Miami - Lexus of Kendall, for the IS 250 RWD, Premium Package, no navigation. The offer I got was for 32489 plus tax tag and FL fees, with an OTD of 34777.78. Is that a good deal? | |

Seems like these days BMW 3 series has a lot of cars with only "base + auto" configuration. Are there IS250 like this ? and what kind of price I can expect ? The invoice for the "base+auto" IS250 is around $28K. If I can get it below invoice, I would consider buying one. BTW, I am in SF/SJ BayArea. Anyone has recommendation about dealers.

Hi, I just want to share with you my price and experience with a dealership. I requested a quote from Edmunds, and got the response from one of dealer in NJ. MSRP: $37709 (HID, All Weather Mat, Trunk/Cargo PKG, Premium Plus) Dealer Offer Price: $33395 I didn't bother to do further negotiate because I didn't want to loose the color and interior I've been looking for. It was so difficult to locate Starfire with Black Int. I probably contacted 8-10 Dealers from NJ to Connetict, and none of them had it. I paid 199 for Recording fee, and MV fee. Other than driving 50 miles to pick up the car, my first impression with Lexus was better than BMW, I leased last year. I ended up leasing it because MF was lower than Finance APR. I will post more on the Lease forum.
