Hi All, I just purchased an IS 250. I think I got a good deal on the car except for the 'Tires for life program' that I purchased with it. I researched on everything else before buying this car but I made a mistake on knowing nothing about the Tires for life program. Anyway, does anyone know if Lexus dealerships would give me a refund on this. I bought it for $1,900 and I really think its not worth it. I had my car for three weeks now. I know if you purchased an extended warranty you have 60 days to decide and they will refund you if you choose not to continue with it. So please does anyone know and had an experience on this??? Thank you. |

Hi Just purchased IS250 for 32,100.00 out the door total. Nothing fancy. Just HID headlamps, 18 Alloy wheels with summer tires and prefered acessory pkg. Called all 9 dealers in the state and either no one wanted to negotiate, or had no IS 250 in stock. Those who did have a car had the green or almond. I wanted the Matador red and got the only one on the lot that came in that day. I don't know if I really got a good deal, but I do love my car. Red with cashmere interior., which I also wanted over black. Any opinons on my price, fire back. |

I purchased an IS350 yesterday: LT (Luxury Plus) VN (Nav+ML audio) LT (rear lip spoiler) Z1 (bullshit accessories) MSRP by my calculation: 45,619 Purchase price: $40,995 + tax + tags I was all ready to negotiate price and feel like I did pretty well. I was not ready for the post-sale pitch for the service agreement and extended warrantee, so I passed on both. Is the Lexus extended warrantee a good deal at under $2k? I LOVE THIS CAR!! |

Picked up mine yesterday afternoon. '08 IS250 (RWD AT) in Breakwater/Cashmere w/NAV,HID, 18" Summer Tires, Premium Package, Accessory Package and XM. MSRP 38,700.00 We paid 33,540.00 OTD. We spent such an exhasting amount of time haggling and waiting to get that price, that after hour 3 or so I coudn't tell if we were getting a good deal or not.. I hope I did well, but can never tell how well until a few months later. The salesman used every single trick in the book and by the end we were so irked and tired we barely paid attention to the car walkthrough. We passed on the service, but looking at it - maybe we shouldn't have. Does anyone know if you can purchase it later? It drives quiet and smooth and the interior is absolutely stunning. I won't be driving it for a few days since California will be a mud pit until Tuesday and this is my first RWD.

Anybody know the invoice price for 250 with Alloy Wheels/Summer Tires, Auto, Nav, premium pkg (not luxury pkg), and accessory pkg (trunk mat, cargo net and wheel locks)? Sticker is 38,145 with destination and handling. Thanks much.
