Just got IS250 RWD last Saturday(Feb 10th) from Longo. NO nav, prem, 18" wheels, HID lights, white on black. ~$29,900 before extras. $32,750 OTD. Fairly painless process. Went in with previous quote from a buddy. Test drove the car we requested, then started on discussion of price. Salesperson was able to go below our previous quote if we took the deal before we left. He went back and forth just a couple times and gave us a bit of private time to discuss amongst ourselves and contact our buddy. We focused on OTD price. We were fortunate that the car we wanted (color/options) just became available that morning. My advice - these people want to sell their cars, they have a good idea what price they're willing to give you. Don't waste too much of their/your time and just be ready to negotiate briefly. We were in and out just over 2 hours. Only regret was financing thru them. initially offered 7.99 then the finance guy came back and said 6.99 take it or leave it. We have great credit 800+ so we should've just shopped around briefly, but we're gonna pay it off in a couple of years so it won't hurt too much. it seems that people in california are getting great deals! i'm in chicago the best i can do is 32,300 + tax (MSRP: 35,746, invoice: 31,933) |
