Same price I've seen. I got another $300 off. If you're leasing you can get .00245 if your credit is good. The dealer worked the numbers somewhere on me at the last minute. Got roughly the drive-off I expected and the monthly I expected, but cap cost of $747 showed up even though I thought I was putting 0 down. I wasn't required to pay a security deposit which suprised me. They made up for it in other ways though. When presented with a lump sum drive-off, insist they itemize what's in it in writing.

Oh and one more thing... these guys seem to live and die by the surveys Lexus will have you fill out after the sale. I'd almost hold that as a bargaining chip "be honest with your numbers and it will help get you top scores".

Yes. the 36,750 was before Tax, Title, License. I think my total price was 39,000 or so. close to MSRP. hope that helps.

Hi ya'all - this site has helped me in the past (lurker) so thought I'd post my experience today at the dealership in Vegas in case it is helpful.
Went through costco - which basically involves calling the number and getting the name of the costco contact salesperson. Called costco at 11:00 am, was testdriving at 3:30, signed papers at 5:00. I am the type that doesn't like to screw around with haggling for weeks, in other words I am willing to leave a little money on the table but want a decent deal, so it was perfect for me. Also there is only one dealer here so it is not like So Cal where you can pit dealer vs dealer. The salesperson was all business and it was absolutely awesome as far as buying experience.

It came down to the BMW 335i and the IS, it is my wife's car and she liked the IS better anyway - I would get the BMW if they were the same price but the IS wound up being 7.5K less so I was happy with the choice too.

We got the black sapphire pearl with cashmere interior and the preferred package/ 18' wheels / heated seats/ spoiler mats/ wheel locks. MSRP was 39,857 and we paid 37,252 + 499 doc fee + 28 title fee and + sales tax so 40,746 OTD. So it was $2600 off MSRP bofore the doc fee, $2100 after.

What do ya think of the deal? Love the car even at MSRP anyway frankly so feel free to hurt my feelings!

I got the IS 250 on Dec 1, and am in Southern California. I have not had a chance to double check other dealerships, but would like to help those who are still looking. Someone wrote that all IS's are being shipped with HID headlights, 18" Alloy wheels and the Premium package - perforated leather seats with heated and ventilated front seats and interior wood trim. This is true at least in the car I got. Make sure you compare this with the Luxary package in your research for pricing. There are a couple things missing which you might want such as the 3-memory adjustable driver seat, power sunshade on rear window, and mirrors with driver side memory. Anyways, I got the above Premium package along with the navigation system.

I am interested to see the pricing people are getting in the December to Remember sale, as I got the car at the start of this sale.

I haven't purchased yet, the best price so far is 31,186. Would you mind letting me know what you paid, and also, which dealership?

Thanks

The MSRP is $35,222 and our Internet selling price is $30436.00 plus tax, license, a $8.75 California tire fee, and a $45 documentation fee.

At the dealership I was presented first with a worksheet, all it showed was an array of drive-off costs and monthly payments. Nothing else. Pick one he said. No mention of what was in the drive-off. BE SURE TO GET DRIVE OFF ITEMIZED I WRITING. What I thought was in it was a security deposit $450, first month payment $~430, and acquisition $600 ($1480) The actual figure was $1560 or so. Close enough I thought. So I agreed. They stuck $747 cap cost in there and put the acqusition fee into the lease. Didn't charge a security deposit at all. No big deal... you just know you could have done better. Tell us how it turns out.

Can the dealer profit off the residual? Can they arbitrarily pad it in their favor?

Hi yoosa,

Where did you get that quote? I'm interested in the IS250, too. Thanks.

Yoosa, the quote you got is in the same range as what I got it for. I have the navigation in my car so my price was higher. But without the navigation I was about $100 higher than your quote. Licensing fee was $275 (not sure if that is high), but you can add that to your costs. Each dealership pretty much has the same internet price. (Cerritos, Glendale, Westminster) I know for sure the South Bay dealership gave me a higher price, so I didn't go there. If you want to save on tax I would say go to the Orange County dealership. I'm thinking the week between Christmas and New Years might be a good time to buy if they still have the cars, as they probably have to meet year end goals. Downside is if they already met the goals, they might say there is no room to negotiate. Good Luck!

Mine is IS 350 Pearl/cashmere, LT+VN+LR+Z1.
MSPR= 45,177; OTD = 44,000.

I had to pay a couple hundred dollars additional for them to ship the vehicle from other region to this dealer, otherwise, my drive-out price would have been under 44K.

Does everyone think this is a good deal?
