Lexus 2007 IS 250 AWD...NV Navigation , HL HID lamps, WV wood interior trim, Z1 Pkg Cargo-mat-wheel locks, Tungsten pearl, MSRP $39,072.00, so far the best price I have received is $35,057.00 plus tax, reg and dealer fees of $399.00...Is this a good price? They say it is $400.00 over invoice, but I did a search and it seems that invoice is $34,228.00 If invoice is $34,228.00 and they add $400.00, it adds up to $34628.00...The dealers reply was the additional money on their invoice is because they have to add an advertising fee, and would not budge. Went to 3 dealerships, and after price haggling with them, heard the same speech....That is the bottom line....so, I hope that $35,057.00 is still a good price, this AWD car is in great demand in the northeast, and the dealers can not keep them on their lots....please let me know about the price before I sign the papers!!! Thanks!!! |

I live in Houston TX and since its so hard to work a decent deal (maybe 1,500 off MSRP) I'm trying to find a location else where with an amazing price. I prefer AWD but RWD is fine, Navi, Prem, spoiler, HID. Chungcj looks like he got a deal I would go for. $35.5 OTD is about as high as I'm willing to go. Any advice on a state/location where I can get the best price? Thanks in advance

Hi All, I'm interested in an IS 250, RWD with the NAVI ... everything else is pretty much a bonus (luxury package, premium package, sport package, etc). Does anyone have a good experience at one of the local Lexus dealers? Did anyone get at or near invoice? Thank you in advance, Alex |

Hi everyone, Going to go pick up the IS250 this Saturday... the deal I got is $32,854 (w/ $37,772 MSRP). The guy told me out the door including tax and license, etc would be about $35,900. This is the RWD model that includes the premium package w/ navigation... since I have a few days, any input on whether this is a good deal?? Don't know what the invoice price is (cars.com and edmunds don't seem to have the same packages that lexus has on their website) It seems good but I'm nervous since this is my first real carbuying experience... any input would be great, thanks!! |

So my dealer has to 'search' for my is350. the lot was pretty much empty of 350's a few 250's. same at sister dealership. so how long will the wait be? wil i really get the car i want, or will i have to "settle" for what they can find or get in? i din't order anything outrageous. in fact it's on the lexus website. 350, nav, ml, lux with 18 inch, preferred pack. |

Replying to: socal_lily (Nov 29, 2006 9:07 pm) Invoice MSRP Base $27,653 $31,425 Options $4,593 $5,632 Destination $715 $715 Total $32,961 $37,772 So you're basically getting $107 OFF their invoice! I don't think they have manufacturer to dealer rebates now so this is a very good deal. Have fun with the car, you'll enjoy it (It's actually one of the top 10 models for their 5-yr residual values too, according to an article yesterday by wsj). |

Replying to: rhsmd (Nov 18, 2006 6:30 pm) Base invoice for 07' IS 350 RWD is $31,420 with options invoice $6,809 and $715 destination (MSRP $35,705 + $8,402 + $715 = $44,822 total MSRP) that adds up to a $38,944 invoice. Assuming you live in California, the sales tax is 7.75%, overestimating doc fees and DMV fees (you should not have paid dealer prep and hostage fees; those are bogus fees that dealers charge you to pocket extra money), and assuming you negotiated to $1,000 over invoice, your OTD should be around $43,384.66 ($39,944 * 1.0775 + $45 + $300 = $43,384.66). Sorry to say that but you could've gotten a better deal.

Replying to: wlin2001 (Nov 30, 2006 3:31 pm) the price was about 6% above invoice. since there is no glut of 250 or 350 here, i went with the price that I wanted to pay. i don't believe all these people who claim they pay 100 bucks ove invoice. let em scan the contreact and show me. i've never ever known a car dealer to give away a car. thats why they are all millionaires. none the less i'm satisfied. now all i need is the car. |
