Called in today. Rate is negotiable. Sounds like it's fixed out at 90 days. I got a very reasonable buyout rate. No inspection necessary. I cut a check and it's over. $27,648 out the door includes ALL fees and tax. $25,500 is base rate at maturity. 60% depreciation over 27 mos. Ouch!!

THAT IS GREAT NEWS. $25,500 is pretty much right were the price should be based on auction values right now. when is your 27 mo lease up?

When you say rate, are you talking about the interest rate or the $ buyout? How many miles did you have on the car? What interest rate did you get?

Thanks.

Can you tell me what you said or who you had to talk to get the buyout down? I will be calling one last time beginning of November. I will be a cash buyer so not concerned on interest rate. My lease is up Nov 21 and the people keep calling to schedule the inspection.

I emailed MB financial from my online account for lease end options and just got quoted a buyout of 27,459 incl taxes/fees. finance rate of 7.89% for 60mos. credit union rate is 5.75% for 60mos on used car.

Okay I'm convinced MB Finacial hates me since my quote has been $28,900 NOT INCLUDING Taxes and Fees and I only have a measly little R350.

I have an 06 R350 MSRP was $58,000. My lease is up the end of November and I have 30,000 miles. They offered $14,900 off the residual which makes it $23,500 and walking away for $25,200. I was hoping to purchase around $20,000, but I have only been paying $450/month for my lease with $0 down and 15K miles per year on a $58K car. I'm wondering if my residual is higher than most and that is why the price is what it is. I can't complain but I might not buy. I know that within the next year I will need new tires, brakes, and another service totally around $2,000. These vehicles continue to decline far too fast. I only wish my lease was up around January. I think the "cash incentive" will continue to rise...hopefully before my lease is up. Does anyone have the most recent auction numbers for the R350's? That would be greatly appreciated! Good luck everyone

residual value should not be affecting MB's buyout prices. they should be looking only at auction #s. some people will have gotten better deals than others depending on time of year, lease terms etc....the good news is that you feel like you got a great deal on your car for 24 months.

sorry i dont have the most recent r350 #s. ill try to get them. based on #s that i previously posted, i think your negotiated price is still high. is this a recent # you got from them?
