Replying to: medphreak (Jul 17, 2008 4:16 pm) the main reason why the payment is high is because of the 53% residual. when i got my r350 in december, the residual was 61%. therefore the 8% diff in depreciation during the lease period is huge. with the price of gas, no one wants to get a SUV, thus dropping the value. not to make you feel bad, but my lease is 33 months, 12k, for $455/mo with 9% tax included, for an 08 R350 with P1, heated front seats, Ipod and 7th seat.. nothing down except 1st payment and the acquisition fee was rolled into my payment. |

Replying to: medphreak (Jul 19, 2008 6:21 am) we got our r 350 for $638.00 a month-p2 package-ipod package-rear cam, etc..-no metallic paint fee-12,000 miles a month for 36 months most dealerships will attempt to hide points in the back end-be prepared to buy elsewhere if you do not get the deal you want-shop multiple dealerships for deals do your research find out what kind of inventory your dealership has-the bigger dealerships are often able to give better deals b/c they have a lower multiplier skip the sales person and deal directly with the manager good luck |

Medphreak, I'm not sure what this dealer is doing. They are clearly trying to take advantage of you. I live in Ann Arbor, MI. I recently went in shopping for a R350 or E350..ended up buying E-class. But for the R-class....they took $10,000 of MSRP literally before I even sat down to talk numbers. Once I sat down, they took $11,500 of MSRP. There is a $6000 REBATE from mercedes alone. this dealer is trying to sell you the car, at FULL MSRP...and only deducting from the rebate. clearly they are trying to rip you off. Plz dont take it the wrong way, dont settle for anything less than 10k off msrp. Tho i think 11k is common these days on an R350. If they insisit they can't go lower, just walk away, because this is bad deal. |

| My R500 lease expires in September. Has anyone inquired about renewing their lease? | |
