Replying to: sand529 (Apr 24, 2007 7:25 am) thanks for the computations. The cap cost of $51404 does not include acquisition fee of $1000 (which seems high to me). With that, the total gross cap cost was $52500 or so. Then they put in the $3000 reduction with trade in from cap cost. So I guess the $600 base monthly payment was pretty bad then. It is the best deal I could shop for in the bay area. But it seem high to me. I wanted $550 monthly (with traide in) and could not get it. BTW, my credit score was over 800 so that was not an issue in the deal. appreciate your thoughts and calculations. |

Replying to: vtraudt (Mar 23, 2007 12:46 pm) looks like you got a better deal than mine. just signed last weekend. r350 alpine rain P2, DVD entertain sys, voice recog, heated seats msrp 56650, final negotiated 51440 or so 39 mo lease, 12K/yr acquisition of $1095 rolled into cap cost then $3000 cap cost reduction (with a trade in) so final number $49400 or so ended up with $600/mo + tax residual 60% (31+K) don't know MF if you massage my numbers backwards like you did with yours, what is the final price of the vehicle? prob no discount from msrp at all? thank for your help

Replying to: dupeb (Apr 28, 2007 9:44 pm) If I attempt to back into your $560 per month, I come up with a net capitalized cost of $48,200. I used a 57% residual and .00085 money factor. The question is how much of the 6K you are puttign down is for reduction of capitalized cost. |
