We have the Mazdaspeed3 on the way, and we have known about that car for quite sometime, and still no pricing announced yet. I have also placed my first allocation for that vehicle as well. |

so why are we advertising the MX-5 hardtop discussion on the Solstice forum side...just curious....all nice to know information of course.....Im still betting high 20s to 30K when all said and done for the hardtop.....personally..I beleive a power hardtop takes away from the true roadster

Solstice connection. Also, it is still an MX-5, so, if the Solstice does not come in a hard top, then, this is an advantage choice for the MX-5. |

Vacuum pressure problems in Fuel tank - 6 times, Airbag sensor switch under seat 3 or 4 times, rear drivers shock leaking all of it's oil - 1 time, dipstick breaking off into the engine somehow - 1 time. I filed under the lemon law and after 9 weeks of constant calls and a lot of waiting I was told they'd replace the car but I'd have to pay another $2,200 because of mileage. I explained that I didn't want the car after the 1st week. I had 5 problems in the 1st 7 days... ... This car has been nothing but a headache. I found out today that I will not get the full purchase price so I told them I just wanted a check and I won't ever buy a Mazda. They didn't really care.. i guess they make enough money... Well, while out looking at other cars the dealer asked what that noise is coming from my car.. it's an exhaust leak.. so.... now I have to take the car back to the dealer one last time. Point is.. Don't buy one.. if you have a problem MazdaUSA won't take care of you.

" Well said Mighty, thus the reason I bought the Honda S2000; Much superior car in all aspects, handling, POWER (smoke the Mazda Speeds all the time), looks and reliability. Quite simply a better car. I'd even trade that MX-5 for a SKY or a Solstice (get the Red Line edition) and MX-5s will be a glimmer in your rear view. |
