From Leftlane News: In November, we reported that the next Mazda MX-5 would get a folding hardtop roof as an optional feature over the standard canvas top. According to an AutoWeek report at the time, the improved roof would add $2,000 to $3,000 to the MX-5’s sticker price. This week, Germany’s AutoBild magazine published an artist’s rendering of the new MX-5 hardtop. We have the Mazdaspeed3 on the way, and we have known about that car for quite sometime, and still no pricing announced yet. I have also placed my first allocation for that vehicle as well. |

so why are we advertising the MX-5 hardtop discussion on the Solstice forum side...just curious....all nice to know information of course.....Im still betting high 20s to 30K when all said and done for the hardtop.....personally..I beleive a power hardtop takes away from the true roadster

Replying to: pao (Jun 19, 2006 4:08 am) Simple, the question was brought up about the MX-5 comming in a hard top, and wondering if the Solstice was going to come this way. There is the MX-5 Vs. Solstice connection. Also, it is still an MX-5, so, if the Solstice does not come in a hard top, then, this is an advantage choice for the MX-5. |
