When will the first 2007 Denali's be delivered. Also did they do away with the 4 wheel steering. What other features did they dump from the older models.

Mine is at the dealer!
I heard that the rail strike caused a delay and the auto delivery company went bankrupt causing massive delays!

2007 GMC SIERRA SLT Crewcab with the 6.0, 3.73 rear end, 20" wheels, HP suspension pkg, sunroof, side airbags, basically everything except Nav and DVD. My first impression? Absolutely AWESOME truck. Awesome power, fit and finish is unmatched and overall this is the classiest truck ever built. GM hit a homerun with this baby. Anyone else have any opinions? Impressions?

Unbelievable how many Bells and Whistles this thing has. Rainsense wipers, heated washer fluid, heated electrochromic (drivers) side mirrors, the list goes on and on....

I keep reading about everyone else taking delivery and how impressed they are. I can't wait until next weekend. I ordered one about a month or so ago. The dealer found one en route with just one difference from what I ordered and we are installing that as aftermarket for same price. I'm getting the Sierra Denali. Wow......!!!! I am excited!
By the salesman finding one en route I will be able to take advantage of the incentives. If I wait till after April 3 then we don't know what will be there. And my build date has been pushed back twice and looks like the truck wouldn't even be here until May. So this next week should pay off for me! Next weekend I will finally be able to post my first impression...........Se ya..Troy

Troy,

Wow, you have every right to be excited. I debated waiting and springing the extra 5K for the Sierra Denali, but the limited color choices ultimately killed that idea. Black is a great color, but too hard to keep clean. If I could have gotten steel gray I may have gone for it. White and Silver are not my favorite colors. What color are you getting? You'll love that truck, I guarantee it!!! 10x nicer truck than the over-hyped Tundra.

I have had black, your right, to hard to keep clean. I have a 300 foot gravel drive. To much dust. Silver, well I traded a silver birch metallic for this Denali. So you can guess what's left to choose. Yep! White. I looked at some left over Denali's that were white and I thought they looked pretty sharp. I was going to order the steel grey Sierra like you did. After all the options I chose on the thing I thought about the Denali. It wasn't to far off price wise and I didn't know about the 2000 dollar incentives. So factor that in and Denali bound I was. Can't wait to feel that 6.2l motor.. Troy

Mind if I ask what you are paying for it? What options you are getting?

When all was said and done, I figured the Denali would have cost me about 5K more with the same options (Sunroof and 20" wheels). Probably worth it too since it has the 6.2l and the 6 spd tranny. Other than that, my loaded SLT with the sunroof and 20" wheels has everything except the NAV and rear DVD.

I paid 42042. I traded an 04 4wd extended cab slt 5.3. They gave me 19500. I'm even getting 3.9 for 48 months on the left over. The Denali has 20 inch wheels, nav, heated steering wheel, sunroof, luggage racks, and cargo rail system. List was 47300 so they did come down some. I think I should have received more for my trade though. I'm also going to get that GM extended warranty. My factory warranty will be extended to the 5 year 100 thousand mile powertrain warranty. I checked out this warranty and it really is the best one you can get for the price. I am paying 1400 for the warranty. Lots of bells and whistles on this truck so I feel that's a necessary expense.
