Didn't buy a Denali, but I did order a 2007 GMC Sierra SLT with the 6.0 and 20" wheels and sunroof (no dvd or nav). Taking delivery this week sometime. I paid $37K (invoice less $2K in rebates). After seeing pricing on the Denali's, made me think maybe I should have waited and sprung for the Denali for a few extra thousand. But it looks like they are only available in black, white or silver? Is this true? Black is my favorite color, my current 2000 is black, but I am 40 now and lazy and black is too hard to keep clean, so I went with Steel Gray.
Congrats on your Denali!!!

Yep, your right. 3 colors. And I just had my 43rd b/day. Bought myself a present, ha,ha. I got the white one as I have the silver/birch color now and wanted a change. Black is a hard one to keep clean and I don't want to do that every weekend. Keeping up with 6 acres is enough. This will be my second GM truck. I had a dozen or more Fords and one day I said enough is enough. I ordered my current 04 and haven't had a single problem. Now stepping up to the Denali! Cool. I can't wait. Allready looking at aftermarket stuff but nothing there yet for that 6.2l. Have to wait a bit I guess. Good luck with yours as well.

This will be my 3rd GMC Sierra. I bought an 89 in 1990 and drove that until I bought my 2000 brand new in late 99. NO problems with either one. They were both AWESOME trucks, never broke down or had any serious problems. Hoping for 3 in a row. In fact, I sold my 89 to my best friend when I bought my 2000 and he drove it until last year and to this day it is still going strong with almost 300K miles. Original motor and tranny. My 2000 I sold to my brother, technically I traded it in to get the tax saving and trade-in allowance, but we did a dealer "pass-thru" so he technically bought it from the dealer. So, my 2000 will stay in the family. It has 90K miles and is in showroom condition. Not a scratch or ding on it. I just wanted a new one, kind of a gift to myself like you said.
As for accessories, I am having the dealer put everything on before I pick it up:
Line-X spray-in bedliner, Access Tonneau cover, 6" Oval SSTL chrome side step bars, hood deflector (bug shield), remote start.
$2k for all of these accessories...installed.

I have to update my posting. I made a change to my order and now I am getting the 20 inch wheels. I did delete the power rear window. I think the defrost in the rear window makes more sense than a power rear window. I should get the truck about the middle of April. Looking forward to it.

Here's the money info on my ordered Denali.
Options, 20 inch wheels, heated steering wheel, cargo rails, and audio system with navigation.
Total price $43250. List is $46665
Traded in a 04 Sierra - 47000 miles, 4wd, extended cab, SLT, sport side bed. They gave me $19500.
I guess this isn't to bad. I don't mind paying the difference and the dealer is makin some money too. Dealer is even giving me a car to drive so that the miles will be under 50 thousand on my trade. They aren't even charging me anything for the loaner. I just expected they would try to make every dollar they could. Seem like a good enough deal to me. TSully

The GMC website is now listing the new 2007 Denali Sierra and lists available accessories etc.
I note they have various 20" wheel options but only show one type?

Yes they have several different ones but only one kind from the factory. I believe the others are dealer installed. I am trying to remember from my salesman. They had several at the dealer with different prices. I called my dealer Saturday and had him order the sunroof as well. So I started with out the sunroof, without the 20's but had everything else. Now I have the roof and 20's. I hate to say this but watch gas go above $3 bucks a gallon. It'll cost $75 bucks to fill that thing up and thats once a week.
Oh well. I want the truck!

Thinking about getting a 2007 Chevy 4wd crew cab probaby the LT2 package. I'm wondering with the 5.3L you can either get the 3:42 rear or the 3:73. Which rearend is the best ratio. I know the 4:10 are low gears and be better for pulling, but I don't tow a helluva lot. I hear the new Tundra has a 4:10 and a 4:30 those type of gears just sound too low. I was just wondering if the higher gears were better for gas mileage. Thanks for any info.
