Ok a couple of months ago I got into a wreck. Just now finished fixing the whole front end. All of the lights are working except my dash lights & my parking lights? Is there a fuse for these lights? Does anyone have an idea as to why they may not be working? Much help would be appreciated, I'm at a loss right now.By the way its a 1995 gmc yukon 2 door, 4x4, 350 hp. Thanks, Jay

Has anyone out there replaced the gold bowtie logo badging with chrome badging? If so, where do you get the badges and is it something you can do yourself or take into a pro?

I cannot find the $1500 trade in rebate. Do you know where I can get the information to give to my dealer?

Looking inside the hood of my new Tahoe I noticed a big, open area on the drivers side which looks like it could fit another battery or storage bin. Any idea what goes there or what Chevy is planning on putting there? If there is an accessory storage container I would like to get the details.

You might want to look at the Envoy or Envoy XL if you want 7 passenger room. It is closer to the Highlander in size and with the I-6 would get closer to 18-21 MPG depending on how you drive. I have seen basic 5 passenger Envoys and Trailblazers advertised in the low $20K range. You can throw in an extended GM warranty for maybe another $1200-$1500 to cover unexpected repairs for the first 100K miles. The 7 passenger Envoy/Trailblazer/Isuzu Ascender are just about as long as the Tahoe/Yukon, just not as wide. Also note that the GMs are on truck type frames while the Highlander frame/unibody & suspension started life as a Camry. Even though the Envoy/TB are frame based, the ride is exceptional.

Several DFW Texas area dealers I visisted were aware of this trade-in rebate that was offered on 2000 model trades or newer, however I mentioned it first. This incentive is not listed in GM rebates and was supposed to have ended April 30th, though I think it may have been extended.

I was wondering the same thing. I owned a 1997 Chevy Cheyenne truck that had a similar space under the hood but it had an actual storage bin there. Does anyone know if you can buy something similar from Chevy to put in that space on the Tahoe?
