Got another build date yesterday of 5-8-06 from my dealer.
Original order date was 2-17-06 with a build date of 3-20-06.
BTW what's the phone number you are using for Chevy customer service? Thanks.

This is an apples and oranges question. Kind of like comparing a Miata to a Corvette. Based upon what you said, I think you would be happier with the HL but they aren't really very comparable.

Are you going to have other things like billet gas door, chrome door handles, etc? If so, then probably should go with the chrome frame. Also depends on vehicle color and personal taste. I go for the black frame and removing the other chrome stuff. Kind of old school but that's just me. They aren't that expensive so you might try one and see how you like it after a while.

Since mine hasn't been built yet, I haven't seen manual. One possibility is because Chevy doesn't give you an aluminum wheel for the spare, you have to mount and balance two tire/wheel combos if you rotate the spare or drive with that funky, black steel wheel.

Hey guys, I just leased a 2007 Tahoe 4x4 with the LT1 package, 20" rims, side curtain airbags and Bose speakers. If anyone has a question that a quick look at my vehicle or owner's manual review will address, let me know.

I thought the same thing about the seats. Narrower and harder.

I'm trying to buy this exact Tahoe, '07 LT1, third row seat, cloth interior. It stickers for about $36,700, but I have one of the $1,500 GM coupons (received in the mail) and now GM is offering a $1,000 cloth seat allowance as well as $1,500 additional for any trade of a 2000+ vehicle (which I have), for a total additional $4,000 off their best deal. This puts the best offer I've received at $33,000, less the $4,000 in GM allowances, for a total of $29,000. The also gave me the best offer on my trade by about $1,000. My husband is still working on them and $3,000 of these incentives run out in two days. I don't think we should expect any better deal. Anyone with comments?
By the way, I've owned 5 new Suburbans over the past 11 years and my trade is an '05 Toyota 4-Runner. I like the Toyota, but it's way too small after 10 years in a Suburban.

Is this $1,500 additional for any trade of a 2000+ vehicle an dealer offer or directly from GM? What state are you purchasing in ?

I believe it is from GM, since several dealers I was working with, as well as a GMC dealer with a Yukon, were making the same offer. I live in Texas.
