For those that have installed these or had them installed, does yours fit snug to the bumper? I had the dealer install one today, the bottom is tight but the top is approximately 1" away from the bumper.

GM doesn't need me to say it, but IMHO the '07 Tahoe is a homerun. Looks, handling, mileage, etc. etc. For what people buy them for and do with them, they can't be beat. I say this as a Porsche Cayenne owner who while I love the Porsche wished he could also have a good '0l American SUV that you could throw sacks of lime into at Home Depot, drive on absolutely rotten days and not worry about some clown hitting you, and if you used Mobil1 with regular oil changes run it out to 150K before you dumped it. Resale? Who cares, you are going to USE it up. It does seem to me though that the average price paid for a loaded Tahoe just went up from maybe 31K to 41K after all the pushing and shoving is over with. |

Replying to: rat55chevy (Apr 19, 2006 5:52 pm) I took the truck back this morning to show it to my service tech and he said that that's the way it's supposed to be. I'm kind of getting tired of their "excuses" so maybe when I get their Customer Service Survey I'll really let them have it this time. Think I'll print out the comments here on the forum about the pattern being off slightly and take it down to them...They better fix it and fix it right or they may be starting to deal with an "unhappy" customer.
