My Tahoe is still at the dealership, by Monday they should have an idea when the module will be shipped. I can still drive the vehicle, problem is my wife will not because stailitrack was the selling point that made her comfortable driving the suv. Did your dealer every get any idea how long it would be before they finally get the part?

My Dealership had told me that they would have the parts in about a week, but that was 2 weeks ago. I haven't done any follow up calls so I really don't know when they are expecting these modules.
My wife is the one who drives our new LTZ (however she does let ME drive it when we go somewhere together )...And I don't think she knows that neither the stabilitrack or traction control is not working. However, from what the dealership told me, they are only not working when the lights come on and the display is giving the message to service them. The service manager told me that if you turn the truck off and restart it...That it resets the module and things will once again be working. They originally tried to push this issue off as a "glitch" and that's all I had to do to fix the problem. I told the service manager "Bad Answer"!!! I didn't pay this much money for a "glitch"!
Hopefully they'll get these parts soon...I'll let you know more when to expect these parts if I can find out from them.

I just bought a billet grill for my 2007 Tahoe from EBAY. $76. bucks plus $28 shipping. It came in 5 days. I installed it in 45 mins and it looks fantastic. It installs over the existing grill. Four screws and nuts with the brakets that come with the grill. What a difference...trust me!!!! Its looks great!!!

These numbers must include the 2006 models. Also the Aviator is no longer in production so what's selling must be leftover dealer stock, but you didn't include Mountaineer. Expedition in terms of size and price falls in between Tahoe and Suburban; hard to compare as apples-to-apples.

Short term news is positive, but is it sustainable? Two months' data isn't very much. Seems the market has shifted well towards the cross-overs.

Yep, I think GM was surprised by the numbers as well. The way gas prices are going, the shift may pass cross-overs to subcompacts!

However many of the crossovers are only getting 22 to 25mpg. The new Tahoe is rated at 22mpg(2wd) or 21(4wd). Not much of a difference. If you toys that need to be pulled, the crossovers hardly cut it.
Now at the same time, I've been researching Honda Civics... so I know what you mean on gas prices.
Note to Host: Edmunds has hwy mpg at 18 for the 07 Tahoe. Needs updating....
