Mossy Chevrolet in San Diego (Encinitas) has an ad in todays S.D Union, advertising $3k off on 2007 Tahoes. Wow, that didn't take long. Did it?

The Tahoe virtually has zero room behind the 3rd row and even folded up, they still take up to much room. So, I'll wait for another Suburban/Yukon XL. I don't want to start another 3rd row debate, we just happen to need the extra room and is why a Suburban will be better for us. A fold flat 3rd row still wouldn't be much help since we use the 3rd row quite a bit.

I just put my first 1k miles on my 2007 Tahoe LT2 4X4. So far, no problems. Still quiet inside, no squeaks or rattles. Fuel economy is 15-17 city/mixed and 19 highway. I traded in my 2005 Chevy Avalanche and it was definitely the correct move. I wasn't looking for new vehicle then GM sent me a "Private Sale Coupon" for $1500 off & a sales pamphlet, plus my GM Discount and the fact the dealership gave me top retail blue book value on my trade-in, I couldn't say no. Seats are comfortable, but third row seats are useless unless you put kids back there. Love the second row bucket seats and the interior and ride are much improved. The options on my Tahoe are: Second Row Bucket Seats, XM Radio, Side Curtain Airbags, Locking Rear Differental, Luggage Rack Cross Bars. The factory remote start on the LT2 package is great, because I live in a cold part of the country. I normally don't keep vehicles more than a couple years, but this time I purchased the 100,000 mile extended warranty for two reasons: 1-you never know how the first run of a new vehicle will turn out. 2- I plan on keeping this one until the wheels fall off. If anyone has any questions about it, let me know.

I stopped at a Chevy Dealer this weekend and sat in a new Tahoe and was very imopressed with the interior. My wife is gonna kill me!! (and this is her daily driver!) I like a lot of the improvement and can't wait to drive one. I wonder how long before the 6 speed is offered across the board!
