Replying to: nosbor77 (May 27, 2007 1:41 pm) I noticed that also. I have 3.73 gears and it'll stay in V4 in tow mode up to about 60 mph. I did take a trip last weekend and got 17.5 going and 19.6 on return. First time ever over 17. Even saw V4 on level roads at 65. Have ~6500 mi. Mobil 1 gave me about 1 mpg when I switched. Replying to: 73shark (May 30, 2007 5:41 pm) I tried the tow mode thing, seems very interesting... only really makes a difference between like 30 and 50mph. My Tahoe was even in V4 on slight hills. However, I think it uses more gas during start up so where I live its not practical with all the lights and stops.
