Same wiper blade.

Actually I looked at a closeup picture of the 2008 models and they have this wiper arm. So, I guess there using what they have for the rest of the '07's, but the '08's get the new one.

I still don't like it. Not sure how to get an old arm.

That's about what I get. have about 12000 miles. Everyone kept telling me that I'd see an improvement after a break in period. Never saw a change.

Also, I discussed this on this forum just under a year ago and we discoverd that tahoes with higher axle ratios tend to get better mileage. I have the lowest ratio of 3.43.. There were some pretty good results reported by tahoes with ratio of over 4.

Also, we found that, while driving on a flat road, and setting cruise control at a speed ranging from 35mph to 50 mph while having tow mode active, the motor operated in v4 constantly. Kinda cool!!

Where did you find pictures of the '08s?

Before my first oil change I was getting no better than 13-14mpg... now I get a minimum of 15 during city driving and have had 19 mpg on good trips... At least its something...

Interesting that they are putting the air filter indicator back on that the 2002 TrailBlazers had. Wonder if they put in a cabin air filter?

I noticed that also. I have 3.73 gears and it'll stay in V4 in tow mode up to about 60 mph. I did take a trip last weekend and got 17.5 going and 19.6 on return. First time ever over 17. Even saw V4 on level roads at 65. Have ~6500 mi. Mobil 1 gave me about 1 mpg when I switched.

When your vehicle is in the tow mode you have in effect lowered the gear ratio from 3.43 to probably somewhere near 4.0...(raising the number is actually lowering the gear ratio) These engines seem to want to stay in the v4 mode when the lower ratios are used and that helps to get better gas mileage.

thanks for your honesty. GM and Ford ought to Quit Now. Save us the drama. I won't even mention Chrysler. I am a union man for 30 years, but these assembly line workers we have CAN NOT DO THE JOB. No pride and no brains and no workmanship. Detroit is a wasteland! Just like Iraq. We have to admitt it and move on.

I tried the tow mode thing, seems very interesting... only really makes a difference between like 30 and 50mph. My Tahoe was even in V4 on slight hills. However, I think it uses more gas during start up so where I live its not practical with all the lights and stops.
