We're getting freezing rain/snow here.. I just had to make a 4 mile drive and both windsheild wipers froze solid making them useless...I had to stop 4 times and break the ice free so I could see for a while... I'd like to meet the engineer who designed them and give him a piece of my mind..He must live in Florida because i know they could not have tested them in a real winter climate.. They are an outright disaster... And.. The company with the patent says they have no plans to make a winter wiper!!! I've always purchased winter wipers for all my cars and they really work great.. There covered in rubber which prevents the ice from forming..If I would have known this before hand I would never have purchased this vehicle.. What good is having a 4WD vehicle with worthless wipers???

| Backing out of my driveway this morning, I tore the rubber piece mounted below the front bumper off.. I really have to know.. Who came up with the need for this piece and did they ever expect it to survive winter?? I give up. | |

I was thinking that after I get a new set, trying to press the pin out and attaching it to a set of normal blades. There are several blades out now that have the same configuration as the Valeo but with standard attachment. My parts guy will sell them to me for $20 ea. Not bad for a $5 blade.

| I have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ with 9,700 miles. The following incident occurred on Friday - no explanation from dealer was available. I had been driving about 10 minutes, using radio and Nav system. I stopped at a local store for about 10 minutes. Upon restarting, the radio, navigation system and onstar service was inoperable. I stopped the vehicle and restarted thinking it would all come back. No luck. Even the turn signal "click" was silent. The heat and air controls worked as well as all the gauges on the dash. I drove directly to the Chevy dealer and explained the problem. Made an appointment for the next day to have them "Check it out". Upon starting my truck in the dealer lot all of the things that stopped working suddenly started OK. Did anyone have a similar situation happen to them? Dealer tested for "trouble code" but the restart clear memory. What was the resolution? Thx | |
