Maybe you should give Coastal a call for help.   Now maybe you (or someone else) can help me with my install. I tried today to pull off the plastic trim around the radio and could not get it off. The top popped right off (next to the radio) but when I got down next to the climate control panel it seemed to be attached there firmly - almost like it was part of the climate control panel itself. Replying to: greggboston (Sep 23, 2006 6:03 pm) Yeah Gregg, It is a pain to pull off. I actually found a wood/wax carver with a small thin blade and wrapped it in tape. There are like four clips that hold it on the side. It may be 2 or 3 on either side. I started in the bottom right corner and then worked my way along the bottom and then up the sides. For some reason the middle one felt like it held tighter than the rest. But with some pulling, and patience I was able to pop the last one off. I had a buddy help just to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid, like just grip and rip. Thanks to all for the ideas, I called and emailed Costal yesterday, but I don't think I'll get a response until Monday or Tuesday. Replies to this message: twernst10 (Sep 26, 2006 5:44 am)

Owners manual says take it off when 4 wheelin, but to replace it so the engine doesn't over heat. That spoiler isn't channeling air into any ports I cant believe it has anything to do with keeping the engine cool, maybe saving on the mpg's. but 7" is NOT acceptable clearance on a full size 4wd truck Replies to this message: catahoe (Sep 24, 2006 6:51 pm)

I have 2 young kids and I find myself having to spin my neck around to see what the status is of a movie, while at the same time driving down the road. It would be nice if someone could find a way to bypass this feature so that my passenger could at least make necessary changes. Protectionism is a counter productive act! I do agree that it's a real pain for anyone up front to see what's going on, especially when you have to restart it with the remote after a key off.
