sffullmoon,
As an FYI, I removed my third row seats because I need to haul items in the back more often than I need to make more room for people. I purchased the cupped rubber/vinyl cargo mat from my GMC dealer for $55.00. It has worked out great and has never allowed liquids or other unwanted mess to get on the carpeting in the cargo area. There are many options available that have been discussed in this forum in past months. I would send a picture, but I haven't figured out how to attach a photo into this forum.

I requested pricing on a LT3 w/ 20" wheels (RCS Option), I get 1 reply from 4 dealers. He gives me a great price and then in a subsequent e-mail says he forgot to price the RCS with it. I ask him for the price w/ RCS and he doesn't answer, just says I need to get one with the 3rd seat and power liftgate. I've seen all I need to see from that guy.
I think I read that the current $2,000. rebate runs thru 10/2/06. Anyone hearing that they may up the rebate (back) to $3,000.? I know a local dealer that has 46 LT3s and LTZs sitting on his lot.

Thanks much for the info. I ended up ordering two: one carpet for the dog and one protective for when I'm hauling stuff. From the description on the website it sounds like they'll do the trick.

My buddy and I just installed it, and we can't get it to work at all. When I recieved the kit the #1 "switch" was down and all the rest were up. In the directions it says to set all "switches" to the up position. I tried loads of different combinations and none seemed to work. Does anyone remember the "switch" setting on the box. I did the optional install with the "clips" to allow navigation inputs while driving. I really want to get this done this weekend while my buddy is here. I need some help from you all. BTW I followed the directions printed and from the website. Please help............

just looked at mine(haven't installed it yet) and you're right - all are in the up(off) position except the first one which is down(on). the directions indicate this first position is only necessary to mess with if you want the aux power(orange wire) activated.

i'd double check the connections and make sure your wire taps are actually "tapping" and making a good connection and that all the other connections are snug

this is all i got - hope it helps

Yes the directions say set all switches to the up position. That's all I can suggest. Maybe you should give Coastal a call for help.

Now maybe you (or someone else) can help me with my install. I tried today to pull off the plastic trim around the radio and could not get it off. The top popped right off (next to the radio) but when I got down next to the climate control panel it seemed to be attached there firmly - almost like it was part of the climate control panel itself. Any hints how to get the trim off?

Pull real hard. I used a putty knife that I covered in duct tape to pry it off.

Yeah Gregg,
It is a pain to pull off. I actually found a wood/wax carver with a small thin blade and wrapped it in tape. There are like four clips that hold it on the side. It may be 2 or 3 on either side. I started in the bottom right corner and then worked my way along the bottom and then up the sides. For some reason the middle one felt like it held tighter than the rest. But with some pulling, and patience I was able to pop the last one off. I had a buddy help just to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid, like just grip and rip. Thanks to all for the ideas, I called and emailed Costal yesterday, but I don't think I'll get a response until Monday or Tuesday.
