Hey Collins...I didn't splice into any other wires. I just unplugged the old halogen bulbs and plugged the ballast into this harness. I know that's not exactly how it's supposed to be done...But the lights work perfectly!! They come on with the autolamp feature, when you unlock the vehicle at night, etc.

By doing it this way, it disables the high/low beam feature that would turn off the low beams when you switch to high. Because of this...Now when I turn on my high beams, both the HID's and the high beams are on at the same time!!! Talk about lighting up the road!!

Hope this helps...What K temp did you get? I got the 6000K and now kind of wish I might have got the 5 or 4500K. Not really a problem, but the 6000K is a little more bluer than I thought they would be. Nonetheless...They work and look GREAT!!

Help me find my Tahoe by obravada

I signed a purchase agreement for a 2007 Tahoe LTZ last week that was a "Locate" vehicle. It's coming from another dealership but has not arrived as yet (said to be in transit). The dealer that I am purchasing the Tahoe from can't say when the vehicle will be delivered to the other dealership. My question is this... If the VIN number is available is there a way to track where the vehicle is at anytime? Dealer said that when it leaves the factory it like goes into a "black hole" until it arrives at the designated dealer that ordered the vehicle. Does this sound right????

Based on my experience, it takes about one week from the time it leaves the factory to reach the ordering dealer. Have they been notified of a build date? It's about a week to build. Did they tack on an additional fee to transport to your dealer?

Have you thought about the GM Perfomance or Touring system?

Where did you find a little compartment on the left side besides the jack storage? I looked on mine and while there is a depression outline, it's not cut out and when I looked down behind the wheel well from the jack storage, there doesn't seem to be much unused space down there. My TrailBlazer had all sorts of storage cubbies back there including one under the load floor. Envy your MPG.

Try a salvage yard, the cross rails have been the same since 2000 I believe.

I just took delivery of a 07 Denali with Nav but no rear camera. Does anyone know if the wiring harness is in the liftgate and I can simply buy an aftermarket camera or a GM part when in becomes available and install????

I took a drive to the dealer that originally ordered this vehicle. After looking around the lot I found my Tahoe off to one side. Just a little dusty from the trip from Texas to Connecticut. Should be picking up Tahoe this week.

Still curious if they charged you for bringing it to Connecticut. Reason being is that I paid $700 to get an new 02 from Houston to KC back in 01.
