Replying to: 2tahoes (Jul 10, 2006 7:51 pm) Pure highway, minding a 65mph max, I get 19 (flat road). In the hills here in Tahoe, about 16.5. Pure round-town with no more than 45mph, and no more than 1/2 mile between stop signs or round-abouts, about 10.5. Dave |

I currently have a 04 Honda Pilot. I love the looks of the Tahoe but am a little concerned about the size and gas mileage. My Honda gets 20.5 MPG around town and 24 on the highway. Would love to hear your thoughts about the 07 Tahoe! Thanks!

I have a 07 LTZ w/ navigation. I was driving to work this morning and noticed that the digital clock was missing. So I flipped through all the manuals, called my dealer, and called Chevy... but found no answers. Anyone have a similar problem?

Replying to: dsquare (Jul 09, 2006 5:58 pm) ___________________________________________________________ Your LTZ has full-time 4 wheel drive and as I recall you have the bigger 6.0 V-8 and the 3.73 rear axle. With the 20" rims and wide tires your mpg will be much less than the LS and LT models with the 5.3 V-8. My 2006 has the 5.3 engine, 3.42 rear axle and 16" wheels. At 65 mph I am getting 22mpg. At 60 mph I get 23mpg. City driving is around 18 mpg. This is in 2 wheel drive, AC not on, and no stop lite drag racing. |

Are the stock head units double din? I have an Eclipse double din NAV unit in my current vehicle, will this unit fit in the 2007 Tahoe? If so, does anyone make a double din mounting kit? Are there any adaptors for the CAN bus for Onstar/Steering wheel controls/door chimes? I should be getting my Tahoe in the next few weeks, just want to be prepared for the swap, if it's possible... |

LTZ can be had in 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive. It is not full time all wheel drive, that is Denali and Escalade only. The motor is not a 6.0 motor unless it is a 3/4 ton Suburban, Tahoe and 1/2 Ton Suburban get 5.3L. Full time 4 wheel drive is only on Denali and Escalade with a 6.2L motor.
