Dave,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I was out of town for a few days. As sj110 said, it is a solid mat with
cupped edges that slides over the guides for the third row. It is true that the third row seats need to be removed
to use the mat, but I seldom use the third row and far more
often I am hauling something in the back. The solid mat doesn't allow debri, liquid etc. to escape. Since this my
first Yukon (after 14 years with Toyotas), I couldn't tell you if it is similar to the cargo mats from the past. I just think it works great and keeps the rest of the cabin clean.

They make one with the cutout as well if you do want to leave the seats in. I have it and it works great.

Tahoe 07 Fuel Leak by dirtywork

Just had a major gas leak on my 07 Tahoe at stop signal yesterday. I just got it last weekend and only has 270 miles. Can I demand a new truck from the dealer who sold it me? They want to go ahead and fix it, but not comfortable with it any more. I had my wife and kids at the time, we were lucky that it did not explode or someone flicked their cigarette out the window.

What do you guys recommend, suggest, etc. I really would rather get a new one.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Det LTZ.

That makes sense. I suppose it takes a while for the Nav system to boot and access the data on that DVD. It gets a head start by spinning up the DVD at the first hint the truck is about to be started.

As I wait patiently for my LTZ, I am shopping for all the toys, I ordered my 2004 LT with factory fender flares, currently they are not available as a option on the 07, I think they add both a descent look, and help protect against door dings. Anybody know if GM will offer flares in the future, or know of a good aftermarket flare. I am still looking for a chrome Bow Tie, I missed a chance on e-bay, they had one for about $100, currently E-Bay has a cheaper plastic one. Also I am always open to other ways to personalize my LTZ.

You might wait until the Z71 option comes out as it may have flares. I did see some aftermarket flares on-line but don't remember vendor.

Deciding between rear end ratios? by chile96

Trying to decide between 2 LT3 tahoes: with the major difference being one has a 4.10 gear ratio while the other has the 3.73 Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill but I don't want to screw it up so I'm solliciting advice.

The 4WD Tahoe is going to move us from Atlanta to Midland, TX with U-haul trailer in tow. In Midland, it will be a daily driver with the occasional trip to the hunting lease but mostly city driving(no tow). Then it will move us to Dallas in December with U-haul in tow as well then we're going to sell it(purely a 3rd car that won't be necessary anymore).

So, what rear-end ratio would work best for me?

Thanks in advance.

Personally I would go with the 3.73 based upon the info you provided. Better gas mileage and the 4.10 only gives you 1,000 lb higher trailer capacity. The 4.10 will give you better acceleration though at the expense of higher engine rpms at cruise speeds and lower mpg. Hope this helps.
