I've been driving my 2007 Yukon XL for four days now. I haven't hit 200 miles yet, and have no complaints. I have one curiosity about the Nav system though. I notice that the Nav DVD always seems to be spinning, even when the truck has been off for a long time. I've heard it when getting into the truck the last three mornings after it's been sitting in the garage all night. Has anybody else noticed this?

But it fit really nicely into a small groove you'll discover when you get the gold one off. The bowtie on the tailgate is just taped on. No nuts to contend with. But there are two small posts that snug into two small holes. Now here's my question for you. Did you find a chrome bowtie for the rear, 'cause I'm still looking...?

Here's what it says: "It is normal operation after the RKE (remote) is used to unlock the vehicle or the driver's door is opened. This noise will also be heard during normal vehicle use. The noise is also normal operation for up to three minutes after the vehicle is turned off and the driver's door has been opened and closed." Don't know if this really explains it. I'll have to try checking on it some morning by opening up the passenger's side door. Who knows...? Dett LTZ |
